In addition, inside of the basilica decorated by a ten thousand square meters of mosaics, which use for showing the meaning of the wall and floor. One of the famous artist in the Italian High Renaissance is Michelangelo who was a sculpture and painter, and he also made the finest work in sculpture as “Pieta” in his early age. Michelangelo’s pieta is now become part of the study of the Italian High Renaissance. This sculpture is located in this Basilica.
