So, Where do You Want to Go?

Washington Park

As you can see from the sign on the left, Washington Park has more to offer than just your ordinary, run-of-the-mill park. The Oregon Zoo is there, which also leads to Forest Park. There is also the World Forestry Center, the Children’s Museum, the Hoyt Aborteum, and the famous Japanese Garden and International Rose Test Garden.

As if that weren’t enough, there is also an amphitheatre and a Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial, along with several pieces of art throughout the park. As for sport activity, the park offers an archery range, tennis courts, a soccer field, and miles of hiking and bicycling trails. Washington Park is more than 410 acres, most of which is steep wooded hillsides.
